This thrusts the Detective into a case with Ella Cindy, the Black Dragons, a big bad wolf look alike and a Princely frog tagging along the whole way. When things start to get a little dangerous, it's Prince Chad who hops in and saves the day. But is his chivalry enough to win back the prickly detective's affections?
The Cleverest of Them All was a hoot to read. I loved Linsey Lanier's introduction of Detective Stacey's insecurities. As brave as the heroine has been throughout the previous two books, I admit that I breathed a little satisfied sigh to see the hero come to the rescue. Full of twists and turns and different surprises around each and every corner, this story is a bit darker and a lot sexier than the other two. But I liked every bit of it. I honestly hope this won't be the last that we read about Detective Stacey and her handsome Prince.

I have enjoyed the three books in this series. They are a light, fun read. I so enjoyed how the author was able to take standard classics and bring them up to date and merge together into such a fun series. There are a few spelling and grammer errors in each of them, but not nearly enough to distract from the story line. I would love to see these continue. The fact the stories are short are perfect for lunch time reading. The humor continued throughout. These are not serious stories, but perfect to take you away from your day for a break. I look forward to seeing where the Clever Detective goes next!
Awesome book only i don't think its for little kids under the age of 8 ,otherwise the book is wonderful
Sure, it is not a heavy mystery. It is a fast read. It is addictive. I read all 3 Clever detective stories in one evening. I just wanted to know what happens next.
I loved this book because it was so interesting and romantic and it seemed like I was actually in the story and it felt so real liked I was in the book and I loved it when Stacey and Chad decided to try and work things out.
This book was a little too over the top for me. It was a quick read, but not my style. If you like fairy tales, it is the perfect book for you.
This cute series mixes fairy tales with a hard boiled female detective solving mysteries I'm both the fairy land with her Prince Charming and now back in her own gritty city.
I loved this book! I was hooked on this series since the sample of the first book. Although these books are short they are very interesting and they are hard to put down! I wouldn't recommend this particular book (Cleverest Of Them All Story 3 (A Fairy Tale Romance)) to children under the age of 10. It also has mild coarse language that some people may find offending. This is however one if my favourite books! It is basically a story about a detective who goes off into Hollow Tree to solve a case. Then she finds Chad and saves him from a dragon. They fall in love and are getting married. If you like more of a light, easy, not serious read, this is not for you. If you like action, drama and a little bit of romance, this is your ideal book.
